GNet self test instructions



Self-test receiving checklist

This feature is designed for when you initially set up an affiliate. You can run a quick test to ensure you can receive a reservation from that affiliate. For this, you need the following three items:

  1. Access to the GNet dashboard. 
  2. You need to be connected with that affiliate on GNet. 
  3. You will need to set up that affiliate in your reservation system and have an account number for them.

Steps:

  1. In your reservation system set up the affiliate you want to test with GNet. Once you have an account number generated for affiliate, copy that account number, (la) Exhibit 1 below.
  2. Go to the GNet dashboard
  3. Go to the “Partners” tab  
  4. Find affiliate under the “Affiliate Partners”
  5. Click on their name; their profile will open up a dialogue box
  6. Enter the account number you have for them on your reservation system in the pink field and click SAVE.
  7. Directly under the pink field, you will find a green button “Test Receive”






  1. Click on “Test Receive” and a box will open with the most basic components of a reservation



  1. Fill out the pickup and drop off addresses, pickup date and time, and leave type of car as sedan, then click on “Send Test Trip”. We ask that you use a sedan since this test is simply to make sure you can receive a reservation from your affiliate and sedan is the most popular car type option.  


  1. You should get a success message, and a reservation number. 


  1. If there is a problem you will receive an error message, and an email with a link on how to fix the problem. The email will be sent to the email you have set up in your GNet company profile. You can also contact our support team at support@grdd.net.
